May has made a reputation for himself as CSN’s acid-tongued, Apple-device-using gameday analyst. Mic’d up at the alumni game, Alan is in prime form and having a ball:

- Shouts Bonzai! when paired with Bondra
- Claims first hit of the no-hit game
- Accuses Craig Laughlin of being drunk
- Gets ribbed by Laughlin for having a minus shift
- Uses the old cliché: “Just get the puck to the front of the net. Good things will happen.”
- Tries to incite a fight with Rick Tocchet
- Stunned that Mario Lemieux works PK
- “What a bunch of dicks!”
- Criticizes alumni team coaches for lack of F-bombs
